Hi, Rupert, Thanks for the comment on the video! As for the DVDongle, it's a review - definitely not a guide. It's slated for the February issue of QST (the ARRL's magazine), which should be out by about January 20. Once it's in print, I can post a PDF on my web site. DVDongle operation is pretty simple. I think the only problem (a few) people are having is getting it to work. That's mostly an issue of getting the right drivers and Java going on your computer. And while I see the various threads on the DVDongle Yahoo group about problems, (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DVDongle/), I had no problems on the three computers I connected it to, so I can't really comment. You can peruse the messages in the group without joining. Again, my most significant point is that you can get a lot more D-STAR operation in (from the shack) with a Dongle than you can with a radio. Legend is that one ham who's on the road a lot is using it mobile with a laptop and an air-card. 73, Gary KN4AQ ARVN: Amateur Radio//Video News Gary Pearce KN4AQ 508 Spencer Crest Ct.
