As for the reflector, no. you have to be a registered user of your local gateway, that way you can issue the linking command for Dplus to link some port on some gateway to some reflector port. Multicasting and PORT TO PORT won't make the loop. Again, referring to www.dstarinfo.com with the callsign calculator, this will help you out MOSTLY. the other 11 percent is luck and patience. Now if I wanted to connect to say a reflector would I format the call /REF001^^C in the R2 field? If I want to call a station in another state do I need the / before the call?
