I have uploaded into the Files section of this group, a zip file in a directory called G4KLX, of the first version of my software.
This software reads (or writes) WAV files that are captured D-Star transmissions straight from the discriminator. It will output files contain the raw AMBE data, the raw slow data, and a file containing information about the transmission. The transmitter takes suitable AMBE and information files, and creates an equivalent GMSK WAV file. Since I don't have a DV-Dongle yet, further decoding is not possible. That will change in due course, followed by a GUI, and supporting sound cards. I would like to read and write .dvtool files as well, but I don't have all the details of the format. The currently uploaded code does include the bits that handle the most difficult bits of the D-Star protocol, at least the DV bits anyway. Please note that you'll need to install Visual C++ 2008, the free one, to build the software. It's reasonably portable to other platforms bar the WAV input and output classes. Jonathan G4KLX
