Hello Mike and all,

Yes I did receive the information and it was very well conveyed. I thank you
all for the same. There are so many related things that pop up like
location!, frequency pair etc. So I am going to leave it to the club to do
it as they already have everything. In the meantime I am going to enjoy my
Radio.

Thanks and 73

Hi Vicky

Not sure if you got my email or not, but John sums it up well. We have 5M
in and out dedicated at the repeater site. The computer we put in place is
a dual core with 3G of ram (I waffled on going on a faster single core or
not).

There is no one single web site that does it step by step. But there is a
pdf that is part of the Icom software package (that you also have to
purchase). The dplus package is free from Robin (what a labour of love that
is).

It is about a $5k project (or less depending on what you have available).
Where were you thinking of installing this? Toronto is pretty well covered,
but another one in the Barrie/Lake Simcoe area would be great!
