Can you tell me what information will be returned by putting *******I into UR Call on the IC2820? (Where * = space)
I have tried that on both my local 145/440MHz repeaters and it returnes RPT? which I understand means that my question to the repeater did not go through or was not acceptable. I was looking for a code which might allow me to check a distant repeater's availability but I think that if I program for the distant repeater and if it returns UR* then I'm in and that might answer the preceding query.
