Hi All,

I have designed a 14 element OWA (Optimised Wide-band Array) Yagi to cover a
full 20Mhz (420Mhz to 440Mhz) with an SWR of 1.1 across the whole range.
Furthermore, being an OWA, it has a 50 Ohm impedance at the feed point so no
matching unit has to be made and finally, the elements are made from 1/2 inch
aluminum tubing available in both the UK and USA.
At only 1.8 metres (around 6 foot) long, it is not too large and gives 14.5dBi
free space gain. This will equal 20dBi plus at anything above 20 foot above
real ground.

I designed this for local hams having a problem with analogue repeaters at one
end of the 70cms band and Dstar repeaters being at the other. In fact, it can
be used anywhere within the 20Mhz portion without any re-tuning at all.

Any questions, let me know.
