Hi Mike,

You can find the answers to most of these questions by using the D-Star
Calculator http://www.dstarinfo.com/Calculator/Default.htm - it will
show you what to put where in Call Sign Memory for each thing you want
to do.

You can only "monitor" a repeater that you are in radio range of UNLESS
someone has LINKED your local REPEATER to a distant REPEATER or
REFLECTOR - Then you listen to your local repeater and will hear all
linked repeaters.

This is where the LINKING command is used in UR (example-REF001CL will
link your REPEATER to Reflector 1C). IMMEDIATELY change UR: back to
CQCQCQ before you talk. When you are done, UNLINK (UR= U)(SEVEN
SPACES then U in the 8th position).
