Good afternoon Bob... Not sure why the Stamford club is not listing it
other than field day just occurred and that was the most important thing
for current information... As the technical fellow with these
repeaters, let me assure you there IS a D star 440 repeater being put
together for Norwalk and as soon as the software for the gateway side of
the repeater is completed and debugged at my qth, it will be relocated
to the Norwalk Hospital site. The repeater is awaiting final clearances
from the CSMA (frequency co-ordinators in CT) before the final operating
freq will be assigned. It is the 440 MHz or the "B" version and I
expect it to be on the air in less than two weeks for testing...

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me at this
email address or meet me at the GNARC meeting the second Wednesday of
each month... info on GNARC.org. Where do you live? What Dstar
equipment do you have? Can you operate thru K2DIG ok??

Hang in there and look at both the GNARC site as well as SARA site for
final frequency of operation and that it is on line for testing stages
soon, a better antenna will be installed once we get all the equipment
up to the site and functioning as it should. Then we will try to
improve the coverage a bit...

Thanks for your interest
