I normally setup the frequencies, callsigns, etc in VFO mode, then save the combination into a memory. Works every time for me. Using the software is easier, but the above strategy works when I have to make a change in the field, without the benefit of the programming software.. >Now, understand this is all from the front panel controls. However, I normally just save everything except the UR callsign, except for stations I call all the time.
