Hello! Several mornings there has been a Japanese station or two on Reflector 1C calling CQ. Hoping to contact him, I quickly pressed the "One Touch" feature button on my ID-880H, verified that the UR and RPT call signs were set correctly, and called him back. However, the stations do not respond.
I do realize that this issue may be caused by any number of reasons, but I was hoping to confirm my side of the operation. Is there anything else I would need to do to call back to Japan? In other words, should the "One Touch" feature be sufficient or do I need to do something else? Thanks for any input! 73, Robert Kluck - N4IJS
