Most of the Open G2 has been released at
sourceforge: http://dstardextra.sourceforge.net/
under GPL

The rest of it is being installed at multiple sites
with either our RPTR/gmsk program that controls a
GMSK RF modem(adapter,node,...)
or all ICOM G2 software (dsgwd, dsipsvd) removed
and our Open G2 (dstar_g2_gwy, dstar_gw_sync) installed instead
to control/talk to the ICOM repeater controller hardware
using the ICOM repeater-controller protocol between
the G2 and the ICOM repeater-controller.

A little patience too.
In the "Files" area of

...
We will wait a little longer so that the software can be
presented at the International Fair this November,
so that it does not get copied by someone else
and presented as their own software.
...
We have seen attacks from hackers trying to mess up
the source code package.

So, have some patience folks, 100% of it will be released
at sourceforge.

We must make sure that it works 100% on the ICOM
repeater-controller.
It already works with a GMSK RF modem(adapter, node,...)
but the discovery of the protocol that is
used between the G2 and the ICOM repeater-controller hardware
makes it so much more exciting.

Currently we are busy taking "orders" and installing it
around the country at multiple ICOM G2 hardware sites
and also home-brew(GMSK) Linux systems.
We must pay attention at the ICOM G2 hardware protocol,
because there will be only one version of the Open G2
and it will have an option in its configuration file
to run either with a GMSK modem(adapter,node,...) on
home-brew Linux PC's or on the ICOM controller hardware.

We know you've waited 5 years or so for another group
to release an Open Gateway, which of course we
do not believe it will ever happen, jugding from
the "BINARY only" attitude that these other groups have.

At least, with our group, you have seen a completely
OPEN SOURCE ADD-ON linking tool "dextra_srv" that links
DSTAR G2 gateways to OPEN SOURCE DSTAR Reflectors and
you have seen a completely OPEN SOURCE DSTAR Reflector
software(dextra_reflect), all of that at
http://dstardextra.sourceforge.net/ under GPL,
while other groups keep giving you the BINARY stuff to run.
