Ok well thanks Steve. 
Maybe I can lean on Charlie some. If he starts to get requests from more than 
one angle...maybe he'll budge.  
He maybe low on real estate on his tower too, I dunno.
There is another ham in town, Jerry n5jxs, was talking about setting up d-star. 
I haven't talked to him in a few months but he was supposed to be working on 
1.2gig dstar here. I think he has a site on one of the tall bldgs on A&M campus.

Guess I need to get me a dongle sometime!

BTW-I still have a lot to learn about all this linking, I know how it works 
(mostly) but the specifics (like the Temple machine) you mentioned I have no 
clue.
