Has anyone had issues with the mic connector sitting atop the radio? It appears to be made by Hirose.
After I purchased the speaker/GPS mic I had trouble getting the connector disconnected but was ultimately able to do it. I find now, however that the Hirose connector on the radio now turns easily as soon as I insert the male connector which is part of the speaker mic. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I suppose that I'll have to send it back for in-warranty repair. I know that Hirose makes some of these that ARE supposed to spin to prevent damaging tiny leads on the PC boards inside. I assume this is NOT one of those. Does anyone know for sure. Jess ND1L
