Folks,

We would be happy to donate REF 025 B for any Skywarn Recognition Day...we area
new REF servicing the Washington DC Metropolitan area...

Our organization is called the National Capitol Region D-Star Association, and
it is comprised of 7-8 amateur organizations here in the Virginia area...

It would not be a problem....it's yours for the asking!

Our NWS office has a 2820 permanently installed and the station callsign is
registered on the gateway, but it will likely be up to the individual operator
to use it for contacts.

If there is a reflector designated for Skywarn Recognition Day contacts I
believe it would go a long way towards getting them to use it. I can easily
ensure that our local repeater remains connected for the duration of the
contest.
