Don't know about the 2820, but on an ID800 I ran a GPS emulator program 
in place of the GPS receiver to feed the radio.  I can put in any 
coordinates I want.  Do a search on messages or look in the files and 
links sections - I believe the emulator program and some relative posts 
are there.  73, steve
