[DSTAR_DIGITAL] Iowa D-STAR

Greetings,
I saw a posting from K6JM that mentioned a friend in a small town in Iowa who 
is active on D-STAR. Having spent a lot of time as a kid in SW Iowa, I was 
curious about where Jim's friend is located and how I might connect with hams 
in Iowa via D-STAR. Do they tend to use a particular reflector, or is there a 
way to route traffic directly through the system?
