Well, the attachment is for a 2820 or 880 with a 3/32 stereo plug for data.

 

The 92 uses the funny mic connector.

 

The video shows just stuffing pins 2+3 from a DB 9 in the mic hole, and
holding them there with the mic connector cover and then connecting DB9 pin
5 ground to ground(antenna shield of the 92.

 

You still have to buy the ICOM or RT systems software to program it. At
least the DRATS software is free
