I would guess the data cables from Yaesu will not be compatible with an ICOM
radio. However, if all you want is to set memories using cloning mode,
generally the standard cloning cable works across most of the radios.

For example, years ago I had a Yaesu VX-5R HT and got a cloning cable from RT
systems. Turns out this one works with my 92AD and my 800H. You plug it into
the speaker jack. Using programs from RT Systems, it can copy out all
memories, or clone in all memories. So it's slow but simple.

By the way, now that most PCs have USB but no serial port, it turns out the RT
Systems programs are more touchy and they want you to buy new cloning cables --
from them of course.

The IC-880 uses the same programming cable (1529?) as the IC-2820, but I
would be surprised if a Yaesu programming cable would work on an Icom radio.
