As a member of AK Vorrat (German Working Group on Data Retention) I'm involved with the organisation and we are still looking for supporters. The connection between DTrace and a protest against mass surveillance in Germany may not be obvious to you, but please keep on reading. While collecting ideas for a T-Shirt, a pony graphic was created. While I'm not too fond of ponies in general, I obviously make an exception for the awesome graphic of the DTrace pony x-raying the turtle-slow software. We could use the graphic with a slogan like: Das Nackt-Scannen DTrace überlassen - NSA-Durchleuchtung stoppen! Roughly translated: Leave the x-raying to DTrace - Stop the NSA-scanning! Please let me know if you are interested in helping us to implement the idea, for example by granting us permission to use the graphic, by helping with the funding or by talking to the right people about it. You and the DTrace pony are hereby also invited to come to Cologne and join the protest march. There will be a bar camp the day after, if you are interested in talking about DTrace, I could help make this happen.
