Hi Allan, Could be a socket or a fifo.
Suggest you replace fi_pathname with fi_fs and see what you get in terms of filesystem type. Pathnames name make no sense for some types of files such as sockets and some versions of some filesystems such as vxfs don't fill in the required fields, so the pathname becomes unknown.
