Hey gang, Take a look at this article on The Register: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/10/04/sun_goog_pressconf/ This is a marketing launch - a lot of noise about nothing much.  It is a signal that Sun and Google are friends, and *may* do other things together.  This quote from the article: <begin quote> Schmidt, however, downplayed anything regarding OpenOffice, saying Google was "not announcing any specifics along those lines."
