Gents, I have just discovered that a good friend, of mine who used to for SuSE Linux, and formerly IBM is now the Alliance Manager for Canonical LTD, the guys that sponsor the Ubuntu Linux Distro.
I have sent him an email about the LUGs efforts to distribute Linux, and our initiative to distribute Ubuntu, by vote, to the masses. He is going to have a chat with Management, but he thinks it will not be an issue to get 2000 copies of the Ubuntu Pack (Live and Install CD) sent over to me, and possibly alot more if I can prove to him that we, the LUG, are making a serious effort.
