Another way...
1. Use gparted to resize partition
2. Install edubuntu - grub should detect the other OS too and put in neccessary lines
2.5 Incase grub does'nt just google on grub and it will show you on how to add multiple OS boot options
3. Just a warning, there is a trick somewhere in the procedure about making the second OS rewrite the MBR.

Just read an article on this recently in one of the linux journals. Incase anyone interested, I can pull it up, scan it and send it across.

He could also install the other one into a chroot jail or boot the other
one using User Mode Linux. :)
