Hi Karim
One of the main reason in ME , IT decision
makers go for proprietary Software now is that , last
year this time when they submitted their IT annual
budget, they went for ABC OS and Other softwares
which was costing much to the organization , and now
this year if they say “OpenSource is the Best “ , they
may have to give explanation for why they had spend
more money last year , poor fellows cannot even give
the explanation that two years back also he thought
about what wrong decision he made three years back
Another reason is that , some managers
think that OS database is totally free , and they
attracted to opensource , because they heard it is
free , it become difficult for them to digest when
MySQL or PostgreSQL charges for support

                Thanks
