Hi
I have installed Fedora 4 on my Laptop -Acer Aspire 1642 LMi.
At first I had some problems with touch pad and Sound ,Touch pad
problem solved by googling ..
Sound problem is not solved [ I cant hear any sound ] and While
running "system-config-sound"
>From a terminal I got these messages.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# system-config-soundcard
amixer: Unable to find simple control 'Master',0
amixer: Unknown playback setup 'on'..
amixer: Unable to find simple control 'PCM-2',0
amixer: Unable to find simple control 'DRC Range',0
My laptop is heating up fast while running Linux comparing to windows
XP.And also not showing how much battery power remaining.
I am getting an error messages like this, every few seconds in the
shell prompt and in /var/log/messages .
