I think it would be better if you start another thread for this NMK. To
answer your question, do you want to assign a hostname or host a domain
on that server? If its just a hostname then depending on your
distribution a entry in /etc/hosts should probably do it. If its a
domain you want, you have the following options:
1. Run bind on your public IP server
2. Use one of the free DNS servers online
3. I can point your domains for you on my DNS
