Dantheman, I am happy to let you know that my laptop is running a
stage1 bootstrapped Gentoo distro. I will, however, start from a
stage3 so we don't end up waiting three days until are glibc is
compiled :)
Officialy the stage1&2 installs are no longer supported by Gentoo
anyway. Their stage3 installs are optimized for most architectures
already. Though I find it somehow sad they don't support you starting
from real scratch anymore. But that doesn't mean it is no longer
possible of course.
