One of my friend is stuck up with a suse 10 installation on his Toshiba A100 laptop.
He is getting a blank screen after the installation is over and once machine is rebooted.
He is able to go to command line thru F2 and options menu.
As he's a n00b, I didn't tell him to edit the XF86 congif files..
I told him to try a yast repair option from the installer CD.Still no GUI.
He found out that it is hanging at the usb detection phase..I suggested him to disable USB from BIOS ..,but still we are at square one.
Hope Dan may have a ready soln, or a good pointer for a n00b.
