Dear Sreenadh,
Dual core means two processor integrated on to a single chip which in
other words we can say as having two individual processors. And as far
as 64 bit is concern don't worry all the major linux distrbution are
avaliable for 64 bit processor.
Their are lot of application avaliable to take advantage of both these
technologies.

Right now the hardware market is over flowing with Dual core & 64 bit.
But from what i know, only a few softwares are designed to make use of
these technologies.
Is there any opensource software that uses the Dual core technology.
Does any Linux OS use Dual core????
