G'day all,

I have a box here that I've been booting from a USB keystick using loadlin.
It's reached a point where I really want to PXE boot the thing, but I can't
find a Gig-E card in
Dubai that has a PXE boot rom on-board.

The current card is an SMC PCI with a Marvell Yukon chip, which is well
supported by any later
kernel, but it does not have a boot rom.

Does anyone know of a decent supplier in Dubai that has a Gig-E PCI card with
PXE boot rom?
I've tried netboot and etherboot. Etherboot just plain does not support this
chip and netboot chokes
on the DOS NDIS driver for this particular card.

Failing that I guess I'm up for a new motherboard with on-board Gig-E and PXE,
but I really have no
other reason to upgrade.

For those interested, this machine runs an nfsroot off my main server and
currently runs a cobbled
together hacked up Debian stable image. Boots from a USB keystick (which holds
DOS, loadlin and the
kernels) and is pretty much my main desktop machine.

I'm *trying* to convert it over to a shiny new Ubuntu setup and move away from
having to boot from
USB, but of course I'm failing miserably at this point as I can't seem to move
past 1st base.
I've played with netboot now for about 4 hours and my head has a bloody red
mark in the middle of my
forehead where I've beaten it against the wall.

I guess I might have to do what I usually do and just mail order one from the
states if I can't
locate one here..
