Samooha Community is growing!! Here are some facts:
The project was placed in the Open Domain in May at http://sf.net/projects/samooha and has been recieving warm response. The OpenSource project is now having 26 volunteers contributing for the project and is recieving volunteer requests everyday! The team now is truly global with members from Europe, North America and South America showing good interest. Asians need a bit of coaxing though :-) The software has been downloaded around 1800 times now. Samooha is ranked amongst Top 20 in the CRM category projects at SourceForge.net The project is ranked amongst Top 10 in the ERP category projects at SourceForge.net As per feedback from an end user (a small PCB manufacturer in Lucknow), EFY India seems to have bundled Samooha on their CD that accompanies the magazine! Life's full of surprises :-) The commercial venture for Samooha is being setup in Singapore and the Economic Development Board of Singapore has been supportive in moving the software product there. This would further reiterate our commitment to nurture a robust Open Source Collaborative Development Ecosystem in Asia. Thanks everyone for the encouragement!!
