If you have it posted via emirates post then yes.  The package will
arrive and you will have to to go the karam office to go collect,
unless you shipped the product to a Jebel ALi PO Box, in which case
you will have to pay the 5% export duty from the free zone. (Unless
you smuggle it out, in which case when the company is next auditied by
the free zone, and they can't find the laptop valued at X, then they
will charge you 5% of X.

If you have paid for the item to be couriered to you, via lets say
DHL, then as long as the item is under 2000 dhs then there will be no
5% duty, if it is marked as over 2,000 aed then you will have to pay
duty.
