The advantage of the Vaio at the pub is we can use eim's network using ip-over
dns to get an openvpn
tunnel into my server, which we can then use to fax (using hylafax) our orders
through to the
Scarlets fax machine and save us the effort of raising our voices to attract
the waitstaff :)
Acutally, given ip over dns gives about 1-2kb/s transfer then it would take
likely far longer to
send the fax than it would to order in semaphore. (I'll bring the flags or
perhaps an Aldis lamp as
it would be too dark by then to use a heliograph and I'm not sure the waitstaff
speak Morse or
Semaphore, but I'm sure some twit waving some flags will attract their
attention!)
