dist-upgrade might be an option if you can reach a command prompt. However, that might not help in this case. If you see the forums/mailing lists u'll find a lot of issues in edgy>feisty upgrades. I too crashed and burned while doing an upgrade. Your best option is to boot of a live CD, backup your data and clean install a new feisty installation. A
