Hi Praveen

As I understand it, Microsoft won round one - to speed up the vote to
ratify OOXML as an ISO, but lost the second vote, however there is a
third vote - which is the important one.  The ISO secretary has
scheduled the Ballot resolution meeting for Feb. 2008 to make the
final decision.

We are not out of the woods yet... And on a more personal and somewhat
bitter note, Apple has decided to support OOXML in their latest
version of iwork, but not the odf.  I wrote them a very bitter letter
in their feedback form!

If you feel like yelling at them to, then let me know and I shall give
you the feedback link :)
