Dear friend,

You made the start, of course with Ubuntu; good
Assuming you are coming from a GUI background, Ubuntu would not be different in
terms of mouse click and use
of various applications that you see on the desktop. In this respect what I can
say is just explore the applications in the menu as it is nicely categorized
and is self-explanatory. There stops the buck as far as the mouse goes.

But to be your own master rather than a "Mouse Monkey" which essentially we all
are; based on the conditioning that we have all been put through over the
years, we have to get beyond what is being dished out to us.

There lies your question :"I want to learn Linux, please suggest me from where
I can start

learning ?"

Look out through the "windows " into the wide open world of internet. Google
any query that you have. Read, read, read.
To begin with you may have to understand the structure or architecture, file
system, command line, vi editor, types of packages, installation/removal of
packages etc.

Be prepared to make your hands dirty; if you want to learn linux. Practice.
practice.practice
The study materials from Linux Professional Institute could be a good,
reasonable starting point combined with practice. You will realize the
potential as you go along.

That is all for now; As I said; look out through the "windows" into the world
of immense opportunities, freedom and control.

Regards

Praveen P.P.
