And there it fails I'm afraid..
I fly *lots* and I'm often away from a connection for prolonged periods.. I use 
gmail too for 
several things, but it just don't cut the mustard when you can't get a link.. 
Oh, that and it's slow 
over slow/lossy/laggy links..

There is *nothing* like having the mail spool on the disk in front of you.
