i unlocked my pearl. purchased unlock code from 'unlockworldwide' thru ebay for gbp 25 (phone was a gift, so 187 dhs is OK). they took 14 days to get the code processed frm RIM, and last night i unlocked (took only a couple of minutes) and tested with a du simcard.
