Standard HD cams, used for high res monitoring, uses Component output
[1]only. Composite[2] is fixed to standard PAL/NTSC and cannot be used
for those applications. Also, such cams cannot be interfaced to an
el-cheapo 878 composite input, since it lacks a YPbPr input.

That said, the person who posted uses a camera with a simple composite
output only.
