I no longer reside in Dubai. Unfortunately (or fortunately as the case may be), due to the "global financial crisis", otherwise read as "inability of Dubai based development companies to produce financially viable investment opportunities", I had to vacate the country due to lack of clients who had the ability to pay their bills. Shame, but then I now live in a country where people can actually honour their financial commitments.
I'm happy to lurk here and provide acerbic comments, bogus advice and generally ill-advised information (as I've always done), but I can no longer invite people to alcohol fueled pork-fests at Scarletts or offer in-person interviews purporting to contain useful information. I want to take the time to thank *everyone* who has both supported me, and taken the time to dig beneath the somewhat abrasive exterior over the last *cough* 6 years or so, and wish everyone all the best.
