Hi all, I have small issue with one of my client. He is using RHEL Deskotp Client5.4 (workstation).-x86 64-bit When he does a Yum upate he get a Error: Missing Dependency: xulrunner is need by the package xulrunner(i dont have correct version # Since that not much important) Error: Missing Dependency:XXXX is need by package XXXXXX
it around 29 errors i did a Yum update --skip-broken it did a update for 40 package . if do a yum Update again i still get this Error: Missing Dependency: i tried yum clean all, rpm rebuilddb if i try to individually install these pacakges it says packages already installed. how do i go about it now?. They have RHN subscription channels ,,but only for Access and FAQ,not tech support it was only for 60 days and now they need contact the vendor (DELL). Do i need to change subscription channels ,since it show it a base channel. Note :they dependency are already installed. i think i need to tell yum that these are already there and don't bother. George
