I, too, had 'problems with my receivers'
(https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?108454-Receiver-connects-only-after-cutting-and-restoring-power)
(one wired, one wireless).  Mnyb hinted that I could try fixed IPs.
Never had any problem since.

(However, the Touches don't seem to be affected by whatever is causing
this and work just fine with DHCP enabled.)
