Many stations are changing to https only whereas for a few years they
also support http and https.  This has been the case with BBC in the
last year.

Touches should have the same problem but perhaps they have been proxied
already for a different reason. Touch have not been updated to support
native https.

Don't know the https support status of iPeng, SLX (Squeezlite-X ?)  or
Sonos (probably via BT or a upnp or airplay bridge which has a version
of Squeezelite)
