I'm not looking to get any more receivers, but wanted to comment on their usefulness without a controller. A receiver can be set up without a controller using the NET::UDAP utility from Robin Bowes. Once a receiver has been setup it can be controlled from any Squeeze controller app or the webUI. Also if you already have a controller, they are not tied to a specific receiver and can be used to set up any number of receivers.
