Since this new login mechanism for Tidal, after I logged in again on
mysqueezebox for Tidal, everything works fine. I can browse through my
collection, playlists, favourites just fine. There is only one small
problem, there is only silence coming from my players.
I removed (and purged): logitechmediaserver_8.0.0~1589867264_arm.deb
(removed all directories/plugins).
I have installed: logitechmediaserver_8.0.0~1599321733_arm.deb
My players are pi's with squeezelite. They can play AAC radio streams.
But Tidal remains silent.
I have read a lot of things about the different encodings mp3, aac,
flac, lossless. But I don't understand:
- If there transcoding is needed, where is it performed? In LMS or in
the players?
- What format does Tidal use: mp3, AAC or flac (I have the 'premium'
offering, not the 'hifi')
- Can you change the format / transcoding somewhere, in LMS, in
Tidal?
In my log (Tidal logging on debug) I can see:

It looks like it is offering mp3. But I read elsewhere Tidal no longer
offers mp3.
So all in all it is quite confusing. How do I get Tidal working again.
Before this new login mechanism it used to work just fine.
