Bit of a weird use-case here, but I'm wondering if I could pick up an old Logitech SqueezeBox Controller remote control from Ebay and use it to control the volume on my Sonos gear via uPnpBridge? I generally prefer a physical remote over using a phone app, or messing around with web interface for quick volume changes.
I use LMS exclusively to control my Sonos Move using Philippe's fantastic uPnPBridge plugin - this allows me to bypass Sonos's 65K track limit and LMS also nicely transcodes any hi-res files to 24/48 for Sonos playback. Anyway, I was looking at the IKEA Symfonisk remotes for use as a physical volume remote, then wondered if the old SqueezeBox remotes would also work?
