Thanks for your reply and good info, Michael. I realized too late that my SB is a Touch so I copied this post into the Squeezebox Touch forum but never got this post deleted. I will follow your suggestion and do a new post regarding my library scanning issues. I think I will also do the 9.6 LMS update to make more improvements.
