Thank you so much for your posts. I think I am getting there. But not quite yet.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have checked my e-mail and login credentials. I have tried to listen to Tidal on all of my Squeezebox devices, not just through my Duet. Tidal does work through my MacBook Air. So at least I do know my Tidal account is functioning. Following is what happens on my Squeezebox devices: Tidal stream doesn't work on my three players.... 1) On my Squeezebox Duet Problem: Unable to play file type for: (names of song flash by) Tidal login failed. Please check your credentials on mysqueezebox.com 2) On my Squeezebox Radio Failed to play stream (names of songs flash by) Failed to play stream wimp.....(a series of flashing 10+digit numbers followed by the suffix .mp4) Tidal login failed. Please check your credentials on mysqueezebox.com.... wimp.....(a series of flashing 10+digit numbers followed by the suffix .mp4) 3) On my Squeezebox Boom Tidal login failed Tidal stream works On my computer via Logitech Media Server "Remote" Tidal plays through my MacBook Air I guess I am too old to understand this. I'm a retired guy. I don't understand an instruction saying, "Please check your credentials on mysqueezebox.com" etc. Well, I can check them, but I don't know how to tell whether they are right or how to correct them. Is there a Squeezebox for Dummies? On the website Logitech Squeezebox (mysqueezebox.com) it indicates the following Player statuses: Controller - not connected Squeezebox Radio - connected Squeezebox Receiver - connected Squeezelite - not connected (I have no idea what Squeezelite is). I cannot seem to figure out how to change a "not connected" to a "connected." But I can get Pandora to stream without problem on all my players with the current credentials; why not Tidal??? All I want to do is stream music from Internet services such as Pandora or Tidal or radio stations. I'll play my Duet through my living room hifi when I'm in the living room. I'll play music through my Squeezebox radio when I'm in the garage. I'll play music through my Squeezebox Boom when I'm in my office. I don't want to control music in other rooms. I don't want to play digitized music stored on a local hard drive. I never want to listen through my MacBook Air's speakers or through my cell phone. Is there a set of instructions as to how to do what I want? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ anglecard48's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71714 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114738 _______________________________________________ Duet mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/duet
