Dear Shawn,
thank you for your mails. We have validated the Stokes model against
some analytical solutions, but this is quite some time ago. The
discretization of Stokes is not ideal in the sense that it takes equal
order approximations of pressure and velocity. This is stabilized, but
nevertheless not as robust as it should be.
We will have a look at your example as soon as possible and get back to
you.
Kind regards
Bernd

Here are three validation tests I ran (see attached PDF). The standard
test show some small oscillation but the result is acceptable. The
set-up is a bit unusual as only one facet on the boundary received
Dirichlet pressure BC.
When I modify the boundary condition to be p-inlet+p-outlet, or
p-inlet+v-inlet, the solutions are wrong.
I also attached my stokesproblem.hh file.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks to all for your attention.

*Subject:* Validation of stokes flow solver
Dear All,
Can you please kindly letting me know whether there are any validation
done on the stokes flow solvers, newly appeared with Dumux2.1?
Thanks!
-Shawn
