User who did this - Markus Wolff (m_wolff) Attached to Project - DuMuX Summary - Implement Dirichlet boundary conditions alternatively as solution-dependent neumann conditions Task Type - Feature Request Category - Box models Status - New Assigned To - Operating System - Unspecified Severity - Low Priority - Normal Reported Version - SVN Due in Version - Undecided Due Date - Undecided Details - In the decoupled finite volume models Dirichlet boundary conditions are implemented as kind of solution dependent flux boundary conditions. The fluxes result from the gradient of a given boundary pressure and the current pressure in a boundary cell. In my opinion there are two reasons to implement such a boundary implementation as an alternative to the current Dirichlet implementation for the fully implicit models: 1) In case of heterogeneous porous media implicit and decoupled models can be compared (better/at all?) 2) It leads to a better solution behavior with regard to physics as well as with regard to stability at heterogeneous Dirichlet boundaries More information can be found at the following URL: http://www.dumux.org/flyspray/index.php?do=details&task_id=165 You are receiving this message because you have requested it from the Flyspray bugtracking system.
